Purchase and reservation policies and conditions
Valtours Ecoturismo makes the recommendation that for the reservation and purchase of tourist services, detailed information be provided through the corresponding means (service page, contact, rates, etc.) to avoid any type of confusion.
The tours offered by the company are daily (Full Day) and last two days or more, for which we have different services which are specified in the details of each tour.
The tour modalities currently offered are scheduled and personalized, which can be shared or private group, which determines the type of rate between each modality.
Regarding the requirements of personalized tours, it is allowed to request “special services” or “extras” (professional photography, chef, special vehicle, private accommodations, etc.), with a minimum notice of 72 hours, which will have an additional surcharge. depending on the service requested.
1. OF TOUR RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
To formally generate a reservation for any type of personalized or frequent tour, the client must manage it at least 72 hours in advance, for which a deposit corresponding to 30% of the value of the requested tour will be requested. For this, the client can choose the payment method that best suits them (credit or debit cards via WebPay Plus, Mercado Pago or FPay, electronic transfer or cash payment). Payment information will be sent directly through the company's official channels, either through the website (valtours.cl), via Whatsapp or email.
Once the reservation has been made, the client must confirm and pay in full for the contracted service at least 72 hours in advance of the tour execution date, otherwise the company Valtours Ecoturismo reserves the right to return the amounts paid for reservation.
Once the purchase has been made, the client will have the duty to appear at the agreed place of departure at the time agreed upon by the parties, otherwise the Valtours Ecoturismo company will give an extension of a maximum of 10 minutes of waiting, in case of no-show and For service costs there will be no refunds of any type of payment made.
1.2 CHANGES / RESCHEDULING
In the event that the client requests a change or rescheduling of the tour, this will be possible as long as it does not generate additional costs in the service agreed upon by Valtours. If there is any difference in cost in the service, this will be informed to the client who must assume the change in value.
In case of managing changes or rescheduling of the tourist itinerary, it must be done with a minimum of 72 hours.
For external situations such as meteorological or natural events, there is the possibility of rescheduling the tour or modifying the requested service.
1.3 CANCELLATION
Cancellations of personalized tourist services that are made more than 7 days in advance may request a refund of the reservation, which will have a 5% surcharge for “service costs.” If the request is made less than 7 days in advance, a partial refund of 50% of the reservation value will be made.
Cancellations or non-confirmation of service purchases with less than 72 hours notice will not be refunded due to the corresponding operating costs.
2. HOW TO BUY
To contract any tourist service with Valtours, you must go to the end of each tour page (Ruta Altoandina, Salar de Pedernales, Atacama Costa Sur) and fill out the established form where you must enter the “name” and “last name” of the person booking, “ email”, “tour name”, “Number of people”. This will be managed within a maximum period of 24 hours.
3. PAYMENT MEANS
Valtours Ecoturismo has the following payment methods:
· Credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Dinners Club International or American Express (Red Compra system)
· Bank debit cards issued in Chile by national banks under the Red Compra system
· Online electronic payment through payment link: Mercado Pago, Webpay Plus, Fpay
· Electronic transfer
· Cash (Chilean peso, dollar, euro) adjusted to local currency exchange rate (clp)

4. INSURANCE
Valtours Ecoturismo is aware of the risks and dangers that the tourist activities offered in all its services entail, which is why it is necessary for the client to prove, at their own discretion, a state of health suitable for the activity to be carried out. For the same reason, when contracting any of the services and under the custody of the client's autonomous declaration when issuing a statement, exemption from liability or notice of good health status of the client in front of Valtours Ecoturismo, the same company will not be responsible. of any illness or medical condition derived from the result of the execution of the activity.
When contracting the services of Valtours Ecoturismo, the client is aware of the risks of the contracted activity and is responsible for paying medical benefits.
